Account Matrix Maintenance

Introduction

In e-Banking application, the account drop-downs are displayed at multiple locations in various modules like cards, payments and so on. In some instances, there is a need to filter and display some of the accounts only. The bank user can configure the applicability of an account for a transaction based on the account currency, account type and account sub type of the account.  The Account Matrix configuration must be based on transaction type, account currency, account type and account sub type of the account.

The account matrix filtration criteria will be based on account sub type in addition to transaction type, account currency and account type.

This configuration will be applicable to only non-financial transactions as financial transactions maintain their own account filtration logic as a part of transaction type setup.

This screen allows the administrator to configure the accounts for a particular transaction based on account currency, account type and account sub type.

Navigation

The following is the navigation for this option:

  • Click Account Matrix Maintenance in the Application Maintenance screen.

  • The Account Matrix Maintenance screen is displayed.

What you can do

The table below provides a brief description of the data that must be specified on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Field

Description

Bank Id

The ID of the bank.

Transaction Type

Specify the transaction type for which the record has to be retrieved.  By default ‘All’ option will be  selected.

Field Identifier

From the drop down, select the field for which the matrix has been set.

Account Type

Select the back-end account type code from the check boxes. The account types available in the back-end are displayed.

Note:

The account types available in the back-end are displayed. The administrator can select multiple records.

Account Permissions

Select the account permission from the check box.

Note:

This is from the common code with common code type PER. The administrator can select multiple records.

Account Sub Type

Indicates the type of accounts that need to be displayed, whether Own, Third Party or Other Bank accounts.

Note:

This is from the common code with common code type LAI.

Account Currency

From the list box, select the currency of the accounts that need to be listed.

Note:

Administrator can select multiple records, or All by default.

Credit / Debit Indicator

Indicates the type of transaction allowed on the account group.

Note:

This is from the common code with common code type CDI.

Add a new account matrix.

Retrieve

Retrieve the existing records according to the criteria specified in the screen.
