Link an Account

Introduction

This screen allows the retail user to apply for a new account that needs to be linked to the goal. Linked account will act as repository account and all fund intended for this goal will be directed to this account. Based on the amount accumulated in this account, progress report will be generated and alerts will be sent to the retail user.

This screen also allows the retail user to select the type of account. The retail user can select any type of account.

Note:

This feature is possible only if bank has not gone with Direct banking option where in account creation is not instantaneous. Post account creation, user has to provide the funding details to the goal. After applying for the account open, the request would be forwarded to the relationship manager, who in turn will process this request.

Navigation

The following is the navigation for this option:

• Click the Continue button in Define the Goal (Buy a House) screen.

OR

• Click the Continue button in Define the Goal (Buy a Car) screen.

OR

• Click the Continue button in Define the Goal (Plan for Retirement) screen.

OR

• Click the Continue button in Define the Goal (Set your own goal) screen.

OR

• Click the Link the Goal hyperlink for Pending Action in View Existing Goals screen.

• The Link an Account screen is displayed.
