Request For Image

Introduction

This option allows you to  request the bank for a photocopy or fax of the cheque or instrument.

When a cheque or its related documents is received by the bank, it is scanned with the available document imaging system. The cheque or document number is entered manually in the Document Imaging system to link it with the scanned images.

When there is a query on the image from e-Banking, the cheque number (and other details id required ) is sent to the Document Imaging system to retrieve the image of the system.

The image retrieved is displayed in e-Banking and any action (enlarge, rotate, reverse etc) on it, directly interface with the Document Imaging system.

The image of the cheque’s that are captured during the settlement time needs OMNI DOC & OMNI CAPTURE software developed by NEWGEN Pvt Ltd. This software works in Windows Platform and needs SQL server for Database operation.

• Click Request for Image in the Check Status Inquiry screen.

Sl. No.

The serial number of the record.

Cheque Number

The cheque number is displayed.

Cheque Amount

The amount of the cheque is displayed.

Transaction Description

The description of the cheque is displayed.

Address Information

Note:

Your communication address details, available in the system, are displayed in the following fields. If you are requesting for a photocopy of the cheque, it will be sent to the following address. If you request for a fax, the cheque image will be faxed to the number displayed in the Fax Number field.

Address

The address available in the system as your communication address.

City

The city in which you reside.

State/Province

The state in which you reside.

Country of Residence

The country in which you reside.

Postal Code

The postal code of the area in which you reside.

Mobile Phone Number

Your mobile phone number.

Phone Number

Your telephone number.

Fax Number
