Cheque Image

Introduction

When inquiring the status of the cheque or the  clearing instrument,this option allows you to view the image of the processed cheque or the clearing instrument.

Note:

This feature is available only if the bank has setup an application to scan clearing instruments, and to store and retrieve images when required. The images are displayed only for those users with necessary permission to access the images.

Navigation

The following is the navigation for this option:

• Click Status hyperlink in the Cheque Status  screen.

OR

• Click Instrument Id hyperlink in the Outward Clearing Instrument ( Hyperlink) Details

• The image of the cheque is displayed.

The table below provides a brief description of the data displayed on the screen and the functions you can perform:

Black & White Front

View the front side of the processed cheque in black & white.

Black & White Rear

View the back side of the processed cheque.

Greyscale Front

View the front side of the processed cheque in true color.

Greyscale Rear

View the back side of the processed cheque in true color.
